It is a privilege to serve as Director of Teaching and Learning at EBV, where our mission is to inspire and prepare students for the future. We believe that education is about preparing students not just for the world we know today, but for the world that is still emerging. Many of the jobs and opportunities our students will encounter in the future do not yet exist. That reality challenges us as educators to provide an education that is both rigorous and forward-looking.

Our commitment is to deliver world-class teaching and learning that are anchored in high expectations, grounded in strong research, and infused with creativity and innovation. We want our students to experience learning that develops not only knowledge and skills, but also adaptability, resilience, and curiosity.

A key part of this vision is supporting teacher excellence. When teachers grow, students thrive. Through collaboration, professional development, and coaching, we cultivate a culture where educators are empowered to bring out the best in every learner.

At EBV, innovation is woven into how we think about teaching, learning, problem-solving, and student opportunity. Through robotics, design thinking, entrepreneurship, digital media, emerging technologies, and authentic project-based experiences, we aim to create pathways where students can explore their interests, build future-ready skills, and see themselves as creators, leaders, and changemakers.

My passion is rooted in curriculum design and educational research, which serve as the foundation for ensuring that what we teach is relevant, coherent, and meaningful. We use the lens of international-mindedness and evidence-based practices to guide us, while always keeping the identity of EBV and the joy of learning at the heart of our classrooms.
